The MIS System Administrator will serve as the subject matter expert for eProductivity Software (ePS) Pace Management Information System, overseeing its performance, configuration, and continuous improvement. This role is central to ensuring that Pace and its integrated modules and other Hatteras systems — including Metrix, Print Flow, Process Shipper, Propago, Prinergy, and Site Flow — operate seamlessly to support production, finance, and business operations at Hatteras.
The Administrator will be responsible for maintaining data integrity across departments, leading system enhancement projects, and training end-users to ensure full adoption. Working closely with accounting, purchasing, estimating, scheduling, and manufacturing teams, this role bridges technology and operations, helping to align system functionality with Hatteras’ strategic objectives of efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as the primary administrator and technical owner of ePS Pace and its integrated ecosystem.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of implementation, upgrades, and optimization projects.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor a detailed project and performance roadmap, tracking consulting hours, milestones, and deliverables for review with leadership.
- Facilitate the flow of data between Pace and connected systems (Propago, Metrix, Process Shipper, Print Flow, Site Flow, and Prinergy), ensuring accuracy across job costing, production scheduling, shipping, and financial reporting.
- Manage system configurations, user permissions, and workflow automation to ensure alignment with business processes.
- Lead data integrity and reconciliation efforts between departments, ensuring accuracy in job tickets, purchasing, and accounting functions.
- Support and train users at all levels, developing user documentation, SOPs, and training programs to ensure consistency and adoption.
- Partner with IT and ePS support to plan and execute system upgrades, API integrations, and patches, minimizing disruption to operations.
- Maintain and review budgeted hourly rates (BHRs) and ensure alignment with Pace’s job costing modules.
- Collaborate with production and scheduling teams to ensure Print Flow rules, cost centers, and constraints align with real-time manufacturing capabilities.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to analyze KPIs across operations, including production efficiency, throughput, and on-time delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying workflow bottlenecks, recommending process automation, and implementing system enhancements.
- Act as liaison between leadership and the MIS vendor for troubleshooting, enhancement requests, and long‑term system planning.
- Demonstrate the ability to:
- Communicate effectively with leadership, sales, estimating, customer service, production, and finance teams.
- Maintain professionalism and a service‑oriented approach when managing multiple priorities and user needs.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 5–7 years of experience in print or manufacturing operations, preferably within a company using EFI eProductivity Software (Pace) or similar MIS platforms.
- Proven track record of owning, administering, and optimizing an MIS in a complex production environment.
- Deep understanding of print manufacturing workflows, job costing, estimating, scheduling, purchasing, and accounting integration.
- Strong technical knowledge of Pace modules (Estimating, Purchasing, Inventory, Production, Accounting, CRM) and integrated solutions (Metrix, Print Flow, Propago, Process Shipper).
- Advanced data analysis and Excel skills; experience with database management, scripting, or SQL is a plus.
- Ability to translate operational needs into MIS configurations, workflow automation, and custom reporting.
- Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
- Experience managing system implementations, integrations, or major upgrades.
- Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to support both technical and non‑technical users.
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
