Shift: Day. Status:
Part-time with Benefits.

Location:

Shore Care, Borough of Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

This role provides direct care to complex patients and coordinates care with an interdisciplinary team. The registered nurse will oversee other caregivers, manage patient care plans, and float to locations across the HMH network as needed.

• Assessment:
  Collect comprehensive data, perform age and disease‑specific assessments, recognize status changes, and identify education needs.
• Plan:
  Develop patient/family‑centered plans of care, set goals, and coordinate priorities.
• Implementation:
  Communicate and implement care plans, provide ongoing communication with patients/families and team, provide education, document care, administer medication, and coordinate discharges.
• Evaluation:
  Evaluate progress, apply critical thinking, and initiate interventions as needed.

• Identify ethical issues and bring them to the team.
• Enhance patient satisfaction.
• Maintain competencies, certifications, and continuing education.
• Adhere to ANA Code and HMH competencies.
• Travel between HMH locations.
• Lift ≥35 lbs., push/pull ≥10 lbs., stand ≥6h/day.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Long periods of sitting with frequent standing, walking, and moving.
• Keying on computer terminal.
• Constant verbal communication.
• Frequent reading of correspondence.
• Exposure to communicable diseases.
• Lifting >35 lbs.; extended wearing of PPE; surgical mask long periods.

• Associate's degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in specialty (effective May 5, 2025).
• Minimum 1 year experience in a floating professional environment.
• Strong sense of accountability, teamwork, ongoing education, and patient focus.

• National Certification in the area of specialty.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering the position.

Minimum rate of $43.64 hourly. Additional benefits include health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
