Earning Potential: $150,000–$200,000 annually — base salary plus bonus

A.J. Perri is a $90 million powerhouse and one of the largest branches in the ARS network nationwide. For more than 50 years, we’ve delivered outstanding HVAC services to homeowners across New Jersey. Now, we’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager to help lead our next chapter of growth.

We have a strong sales leadership team already in place.

We’re looking for the missing piece. A hands‑on leader who can develop talent, raise performance, and help push this established brand beyond the $100 million mark.

• Lead, coach, and develop the residential HVAC sales team to achieve revenue goals and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

• Partner with branch and sales leadership to execute a growth strategy that helps move A.J. Perri beyond $100 million.

• Own daily sales performance and accountability, using team and individual results to identify opportunities and drive improvement.

• Conduct ride-alongs, field coaching, and performance evaluations that strengthen sales skills and improve closing rates.

• Recruit, interview, onboard, and train sales professionals to build a strong team.

• Lead sales meetings and ongoing training focused on customer communication, HVAC solutions, and effective selling.

• Review sales opportunities and help representatives recommend solutions that fit homeowners’ needs.

• Reinforce company processes, performance expectations, and consistent follow‑through.

• Coordinate with operational leaders to support a smooth transition from the sale through installation.

• Share responsibility for reporting, forecasting, scheduling, and leadership coverage across the sales department.

• Previous HVAC industry experience preferred.

• At least 2–3 years of in‑home sales experience
  , with demonstrated sales success.

• Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop sales professionals; previous sales leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, products, and replacement solutions.

• Ability to analyze sales results, identify performance gaps, and implement effective action plans.

• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

• A collaborative leadership style, a competitive drive, and the ability to hold a team accountable.
