The successful candidate would have an outgoing personality and enjoy collaborating with senior citizens. An active license to practice in Ohio is mandatory. We need a team-player who is computer savvy, detail driven, professional, and productive. This position calls for client interaction on a daily basis. Travel between our offices and meeting immobile clients where they are is required. Public speaking and marketing roles are available.

Although experienced applicants are preferable, we will train the right person, particularly those in the top 50% of their law school class. This is an exceptional opportunity for a new attorney.

The minimum salary is $65,000 annually with incentives to earn more. Attorneys may join the firm’s health & welfare plans on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. • Conduct initial consultations with clients.
• Legal research on various topics including, but not limited to, estate planning, trust administration, Medicaid, and probate law.
• Draft documents such as advance directives, powers of attorney, probate pleadings, trusts, trust funding instructions, deeds, trust memoranda, and private settlement agreements.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements, such as Medicaid recovery matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and provide support.
• Handle document executions in our offices and at client homes, hospitals, and long-term care facilities.
• Engage with clients about their estate planning, probate matters, Medicaid plans and applications, Guardian ships, and trust funding.

• Experience in probate, Medicaid, guardian ships, family law, estate planning, real estate, personal property and real estate transactions, and tax law is advantageous.
• Strong skills in legal drafting and human interaction are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
