Diesel Technician (Any Level) – DB Schenker

• Capable of performing most major repairs with limited guidance or supervision.
• Repair equipment in the most effective manner with a focus on quality and cost control.
• Perform effective diagnostic routines that identify root cause and determine best repair method.
• Provide mentoring and training to less experienced technicians.
• Conduct all repairs in a manner that emphasizes personal and coworker safety.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience.
• Work in a team environment to continuously improve results.
• Promote a culture of trust and safety.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in computer‑based maintenance systems.
• Vendor‑sponsored training in major vehicle components.
• Minimum five years of experience in Class 8 maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work in a shop environment exposed to fumes, mechanical parts, vibration, heat and cold, noise, and manual handling up to 60 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard daily.
• Ability to detect, recognize and assess printed text and handwritten documents.
• Effective communication to exchange accurate information.
