Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Placement Officer located in Coimbatore. The Placement Officer will work directly with young people to facilitate career counseling, provide guidance on soft skill development, and prepare them for job placements. Responsibilities will include building and maintaining relationships with employers and educational institutions for campus placements and training, coordinating placement activities, and offering guidance to ensure sustainable career opportunities for the youth.

The role involves regular assessment of employability skills and organizing initiatives that align with the organization's livelihoods and career counseling goals.

Qualifications
Experience in Campus Placement coordination and developing employer relationships for job opportunities.
Strong Communication skills, including proficiency in advising and motivating young people.
Proven ability in Career Counseling and supporting individuals in developing employability plans.
Experience in Training and Education, including conducting workshops and sessions to build skills and knowledge.
Relevant qualifications or a degree in Education, Counseling, Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience in working with underserved communities or social development sectors is an advantage.
