Asssistant Professor Artificial Intelligence

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science to join our esteemed institution. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting cutting-edge research, and contributing to the academic and professional development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Curriculum Development:
Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, and related fields.
Design and update course content to reflect the latest advancements in AI and Data Science.
Guide students in project work, research activities, and internships.
Utilize modern pedagogical techniques, including online and hybrid teaching methodologies.
Research & Publications:
Conduct independent and collaborative research in AI, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, and related areas.
Publish high-quality research papers in reputed journals and conferences.
Apply for research grants and funding opportunities.
Collaborate with industry and academic institutions for research and innovation.
Academic & Student Mentoring:  Guide students in capstone projects, thesis work, and research initiatives.
Supervise Ph.D. and Master's students in their research.
Organize workshops, seminars, hackathons, and industry collaborations

Requirements  Industry Collaboration & Grants:
Develop partnerships with AI and Data Science industries for internships and research collaboration.
Engage in consultancy projects and government-funded research programs.
Administrative Duties:
Participate in faculty meetings, department planning, and accreditation processes.
Support university initiatives, student recruitment, and academic advising.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Educational

Qualification:

Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
Candidates with M.Tech/M.E. in AI, Data Science, Computer Science (with specialization in AI/ML), along with significant industry or research experience, may also be considered.

Experience:

Prior teaching experience at a university/college level is preferred.
Strong research background with publications in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals.
Industry experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science is an added advantage.
Skills &

Competencies:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or C++.
Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Keras, and Scikit-learn.
Expertise in Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.

Experience in AI-driven research projects, patents, or funded projects.
