Southeast Power Corporation is a leader in utility line construction, specializing in Transmission and Distribution Infrastructure projects. With over 40 years in the industry, we are rapidly expanding and looking for experienced General Foremen to oversee high-voltage transmission and distribution projects.
Position Overview:
As a General Foreman, you’ll lead field crews, ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll manage daily operations, coordinate materials and resources, enforce safety protocols, and serve as the primary point of contact between the client, subcontractors, and our internal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise field crews on high-voltage transmission and distribution projects.
- Ensure projects meet specifications, budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Enforce safety standards, conduct daily safety meetings, and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain project documentation and logs, ensuring accurate reporting.
- Interface with clients, subcontractors, and company leadership to address project needs and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of supervisory experience in utility construction (high-voltage transmission experience preferred).
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Travel is required for job sites.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable MVR.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 10/30 Certification
- First Aid/CPR Training
- CDL
