Electrophysics Engineer/Scientist Location :
Oklahoma City, OK, San Antonio, TX, Titusville, FL Salary Range: $65 to & $75/hr
-Competitive salary based on experience Introduction We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our Electromagnetic Effects Group. This role involves working on advanced Defense, Space, and Security programs, contributing to the development and validation of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) requirements and architectures. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working on cutting-edge projects that ensure the continued airworthiness of various platforms.

Skills & Qualifications
* Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, or physics
* Familiarity with electromagnetic concepts such as RF isolation, shielding, grounding, and filtering.
* Familiarity in the defense or aerospace industry
* Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
* Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time as required.
* Experience with EMI qualification testing for aircraft LRU's, including reviewing procedures and test reports
* Previous experience of MIL-STD-461/464 and/or DO-160 EMI/EMC. Preferred
Skills & Qualifications
* ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a Master's/PhD in electrical engineering
* Experience with Aerospace Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3)
* Foundation in RF systems and/or computational E3 analytical software tools Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation, and analysis to optimize design for E3 performance
* Work to achieve Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electronics, wiring, and structure
* Interface with manufacturing and coordinate with suppliers to ensure system-level compatibility
* Support project management by coordinating development of work statements, budgets, and schedules
