• Develop, implement, and evaluate physical therapy programs and activities in compliance with long-term care facility guidelines.
• Collaborate with administration, medical, nursing, and other departments to plan therapy services.
• Maintain and uphold physical therapy standards, ensuring quality care for residents.
• Direct and oversee the physical therapy department, including staffing needs and recruitment.
• Provide training and mentorship to new and less experienced personnel.
• Conduct evaluations, tests, and measurements to assess patient function and develop treatment plans.
• Administer physical therapy treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
• Document patient evaluations, plans of care, progress notes, and other required reports.

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Experience in skilled healthcare, hospitals, or related healthcare settings is required.
