Phlebotomist

Overview

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility-based operations in Titusville, FL 32796. This is a 2-3 month assignment (with possibility of extension or conversion).

Base pay range: $17.75/hr - $19.75/hr

Pay rate: $17.75 - $19

Duration: 2-3-month contract with possible extension

Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 3pm EST
Rotating Saturday 7am - 11am EST

Job Summary: The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health visits and critical health decisions. This role involves:

• Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
• Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
• Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
• Working at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.

Experience:

• 6 months of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
• 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred).
• Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (Preferred).
• Keyboarding/data entry experience (Preferred).
