About the Company:
Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) has warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake and Seminole Counties.
CFC operates 17 Group Homes which are six-bed community integrated homes serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. We specialize in caring for residents with behavioral problems. As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around-the-clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.
East Coast Contract Industries provides Adult Day Training facility for individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Florida. Our programs offer valuable interactive and educational classes that teach participants how to manage a wide range of everyday tasks, including managing money, cooking meals, performing household cleaning, using a computer, following sound health and safety procedures, learning social skills, and participating in art and music expression.

Purpose:
This position directly supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with everyday tasks such as ADLs, daily grooming, meal service, risk mitigation, and following applicable behavioral management plans as defined by the resident's individual needs.
Assist with assessment and evaluation of each client and their direct care needs under the supervision of the Program Training Manager. These needs also include self-care requirements and documentation of duties.
Follow daily shift assignment schedule for cleaning and housekeeping duties, completing assigned rounds between shifts.
Implement electronic and paper documentation of training needs, including programming, incident reporting (GERs), data collection, and behavior observations.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED. College or vocational/technical training equal to 30 semester hours can substitute for the required experience. Must be capable of operating a facility vehicle and maintaining a safe driving record if designated to drive. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of one year experience working in a related field is preferred but not required.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
Hourly Rate: $16.50
