Director, Risk Management/Performance Improvement
The Director of Risk Management/Performance Improvement (RM/PI) directs and monitors the hospital-wide quality management assessment and performance improvement program, ensuring the hospital’s programs are in compliance with all regulatory agencies, Joint Commission, and state and federal agencies. The Director identifies and corrects potential risk-related issues and reports risk violations through the appropriate channels (Chief Executive Officer, corporate representatives, and regulatory agencies).
Responsibilities- Direct and monitor the hospital-wide quality management assessment and performance improvement program.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies, Joint Commission, state, and federal agencies.
- Identify and correct potential risk-related issues.
- Report risk violations through the appropriate channels.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from an accredited college or university. BSN preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Joint Commission requirements and state and federal regulations.
- Minimum of three years experience in performance improvement within a psychiatric setting preferred.
- Maintains current CPR and CPI certification.
- Current Seclusion and Restraint training.
