Weapons Assembler I – Knight Enterprises Management, LLC.

Department: Manufacturing – Gun Assembly

Reports to: Gun Assembly Supervisor

Purpose of Position: This position is responsible for performing skilled weapon assembly and testing duties under supervision to ISO approved work instructions.

• Ability to perform simple math and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the manufacturing industry.
• 1 to 3 years’ experience performing within a manufacturing assembly environment and/or military weapon experience.

• Perform component part/unit assembly and test as required utilizing approved work instructions, established guidelines and safety procedures.
• Record specific process required data during the assembly build / test process.
• Use hand tools, torque tools and power tools to assemble parts/units according to product specifications and approved work instructions.
• Identify non-conforming parts/units and report deficiencies to the department supervisor.
• Prepare guns for live fire and field strip after live fire including cleaning guns for additional testing and/or shipment preparation.
• Maintain work area and tooling/fixturing in a clean and orderly condition per supervisor’s direction and defined safety guidelines.
• Assist with magazine loading and weapons testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of product.
• Perform other job functions as requested by supervisor to support department needs and manufacturing build plan.
• Review approved department work instructions and maintain training record for all build and test functions performed.

Salary: $62,000.00–$79,500.00
