Opto-Mechanical Assembler

Overview

Opto-Mechanical Assembler at Knight Enterprises Management, LLC. Department:
Optics.

Reports to:

Knight Vision Supervisor.

Purpose of the position:
Assemble high quality electrical and optical parts under standard operating procedures and supervision. The role is highly repetitive and requires constant concentration.

Education & experience:

High School Diploma or GED preferred; knowledge of electronic/electrical equipment or mechanical experience is a plus. Reading and interpreting drawings, using simple math, and using basic handheld measuring tools are required.

• Follow prescribed instructions and procedures.
• Record required data during the build process.
• Train others in processes and procedures as requested.
• Follow safety requirements at all times.
• Maintain good interpersonal communication with co-workers and train others.
• Manage time and workflow to meet required daily quota.
• Exhibit strict attention to detail.
• Exhibit flexibility in switching tasks as directed by the supervisor or lead.
• Maintain confidentiality of any confidential or proprietary information.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisory or management personnel.

This position requires a very detail-oriented individual that can maintain daily build rates based on the monthly schedule. Knowledge of electronic/electrical equipment or mechanical experience is a plus.
