Palm Point is currently recruiting for Full Time/Part Time/Per Diem Registered Nurse for our Adolescent Residential Unit
. The Nurse is in charge of the unit activities for each shift. The Nurse supervises the Mental Health Techs working on the unit, administers prescribed medications and participates in educational groups.

Palm Point Behavioral Health is a 74‑bed behavioral health hospital located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including depression, anxiety and substance abuse in a modern and well‑appointed facility. Palm Point behavioral health offers inpatient treatment options and serves communities in Brevard County and beyond.

Titusville, located on Florida's Space Coast, is approximately 30‑miles north of historic Cocoa Beach, and 40‑miles east of Orlando's famous theme parks. In Titusville, you can tour the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Canaveral National Seashore. Not only do you have the abundance of activities along the Atlantic shore, but Titusville also offers an ideal climate, close proximity to multiple dining and shopping options, and a very friendly community.

Shift: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am (rotating weekends)

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Experience:

Prefer one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse. Prefer six (6) months in psychiatric nursing. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications and their correct administration.

Certification:
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. Current AHA BLS Certification required or obtained before direct patient care.
