About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and dedicated Registered Manager to lead one of our eight Children’s Homes. This role is based in Tiverton, in a home that specialises in supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Neurodiversity.

You’ll be at the heart of a committed team within Devon’s Children’s Social Care, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for children and young people.

As Registered Manager, you’ll:

  • Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding care and support.
  • Ensure the home operates in line with individual care plans and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with professionals across services to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Champion a child‑centred approach and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a proven leader with:

  • Experience managing a children’s home and creating a warm, welcoming environment.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and management skills.
  • A deep understanding of high‑quality care, safeguarding, and quality assurance.
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of Childcare legislation, Ofsted regulations, and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
  • A QCF Level 5 diploma (or willingness to undertake it).
  • A full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and business insurance.
