Main Duties
  • Maintain and fault‑find on washer disinfectors, sterilisers, endoscope washers, ultrasonic units and associated site building services in line with statutory requirements and organisational standards.
  • Carry out scheduled weekly, quarterly and annual testing, ensuring all planned maintenance tasks are completed on time and recorded appropriately.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Team Leader and fellow Site Engineer to keep the testing schedule on track and ensure consistent high standards.
  • Liaise with operational staff to keep them informed of planned works and minimise service disruption.
  • Participate in the 1‑in‑2 on‑call rota. On‑call is paid at 10% of hourly rate, with call‑outs paid at time and a half.

  • Experience working with decontamination equipment is preferred but not essential. The successful applicant will receive on‑site training and mentoring from the existing engineering team, alongside company‑funded courses to develop the required competencies and achieve compliance with HTM testing requirements for washer disinfectors, sterilisers and endoscopy equipment.
