Supply Chain Coordinator

Cullompton, Devon
Monday - Friday | 8:30am - 4:30pm (1 hour unpaid break)
Fully Office-Based
Full-Time | Permanent

Are you detail-driven, commercially aware, and passionate about keeping operations running smoothly? We're working with a well-established and growing organisation based in Cullompton, Devon that is seeking a proactive Stock Controller / Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team.

This is a pivotal role where your forecasting ability, organisational skills, and analytical mindset will directly impact business performance and customer satisfaction.

The Opportunity

As a key member of the operations team, you'll take ownership of stock forecasting and purchasing activities - ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time. From raising purchase orders to managing quarantine stock, you'll play a critical role in maintaining stock accuracy and operational efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with supply chain experience who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Forecast stock requirements based on sales patterns and business demand

Raise and key purchase orders accurately on the system

Expedite supplier orders to ensure timely delivery

Monitor warehouse stock levels, allocations and back orders

Check and oversee booking-in of deliveries

Manage stock and address short-dated product concerns

Configure and maintain stock systems for accuracy

Respond to supplier, customer and internal stock queries (calls & emails)

Maintain overall stock accuracy using robust stock control processes

Support the wider business with day-to-day operational queries

What We're Looking For

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking

Confident, self-motivated, and enthusiastic approach

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Effective negotiation and collaboration skills
