Job Title:

Electrical Multi-Skilled Engineer

Location:

Tiverton

Salary:
Up to £54,800

Shift Pattern:
Panama (12-hour shifts: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off)

Holidays: 276 hours (equivalent to 25 days + bank holidays)

Working 23 weeks of the year with holiday

The Company:

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK-based beverage manufacturer, known for its commitment to producing high-quality cider products. The company operates across multiple sites, including production and packaging facilities in the Midlands and the South West, as well as orchards in the West of England

Role Purpose

As part of the Maintenance & Engineering team, you will carry out routine asset care across a range of plant machinery. This is a multi-skilled role requiring both electrical and mechanical expertise, supporting production efficiency, machine performance, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Work safely at all times, ensuring compliance with all health & safety regulations and safe systems of work

Isolate equipment correctly before maintenance and ensure safe handovers between shifts

Diagnose, fault-find and repair electrical and mechanical issues across plant equipment

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency

Support production teams to ensure machinery is running at optimal performance

Complete routine asset care and preventative maintenance tasks

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to improve efficiency and output

Carry out regular service checks, including effluent plant monitoring and adjustments

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard without compromising product quality

Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete all required documentation

Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to support operational needs

Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities to enhance line performance

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Operate machinery where required to support production

Participate in training and development to enhance skills and competency
