Trade Marketing Manager – UK & EU

Scrub Daddy UK is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Trade Marketing Manager to lead trade marketing strategy across the UK and EU. This is a newly created role with a key focus on driving in-store and online execution, strengthening retailer partnerships, and translating brand strategy into best-in-class shopper marketing initiatives.
You will act as the vital link between Brand Marketing, Sales, and Retail partners, ensuring Scrub Daddy stands out at every point of purchase.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive trade marketing strategy for UK and EU markets, aligned with brand and commercial objectives
- Own the trade marketing calendar across key retailers, channels, and markets
- Identify growth opportunities through shopper insights, retail trends, and category analysis
- Lead the planning and execution of in-store, online, and omnichannel activations (POS, promotions, seasonal campaigns, launches)
- Create compelling shopper marketing toolkits for retailers and distributors
- Ensure flawless execution across physical retail, ecommerce, and marketplace platforms
- Partner closely with Sales, Brand, and Supply Chain teams to support sell-in and sell-through initiatives
- Act as the trade marketing lead in key customer meetings, pitches, and range reviews
- Support EU distributors with trade marketing guidance, assets, and best practices
- Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance, ROI, and promotional effectiveness
- Use shopper, category, and retailer data to optimise future activity
- Share insights and recommendations with internal stakeholders
- Manage the trade marketing budget effectively, ensuring strong return on investment
- Brief and manage external agencies and suppliers where required
- Proven experience in trade marketing, shopper marketing, or commercial marketing (FMCG preferred)
- Strong understanding of UK retail
- Extensive experience in market data analysis and presentation
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales and Brand teams
- Commercial mindset with strong analytical and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience working across EU markets or with international distributors
- Category management or shopper insight experience
- Familiarity with major UK grocery, DIY, or general merchandise retailers
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative thinker with a strong eye for executional detail
- Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-growing brand environment
