Availability Window
Mon – Fri: 22:00 – 07:00.
Shifts will be scheduled within this window, with 3 weeks’ notice of the exact shift time.
Pay and HoursPay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 for stores within M25. A night premium of £2.35 per hour applies for hours worked between midnight and 6 am. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
Minimum guaranteed hours: 16 per week. Optional hours: 12 per week.
You must be over 18 to apply. Certain early‑morning or late‑night shifts may require age 18+.
Key Responsibilities- Help serve shoppers every day.

- Keep up to date on products and services within the store.
- Work across the store’s service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
- Apply training to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.

- Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
- Be knowledgeable about store performance, understand your role in driving service and sales, reducing waste and shrink, and delivering profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Live Tesco values, make everyone feel welcome, and always follow policies.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
- Greet customers with a smile, build rapport, and ensure they leave with a great shopping experience.
- Take initiative and make decisions that are right for our customers.
- Work well within a team and communicate openly with others.
- Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit, having fun and celebrating success.
- Be at work on time, well presented, and act as a brand ambassador.
- Knowledgeable about the store’s performance and how to improve service and sales.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport.

- Experience handling products with care and maintaining quality.
