Senior Project Engineer

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage & coordinate the implementation of construction activities for renewable energy or gas related projects
• Manage & coordinate with relevant authority and key stakeholders to conduct site survey for the feasibility study of a project or tender
• Responsible for the successful implementation of the project, from safety, quality and schedule standpoint
• Perform authority submission tracking such as CS1 and CAAS/RSAF lifting approvals
• Create master construction schedule for developments and projects with identification of critical / mandatory activities
• Ensure project completion targets are met. Report misses and develop catch-up‑plan
• Ensure system, documentation, tracking & checklists and good practices are adhered to
• Drive efficiency by eliminating waste and non‑value add tasks to improve productivity
• Resource management and make the necessary recommendations to support project timelines.
• Provide recommendation to integrate resources, activities and deliverables as outlined in the Project Execution Plan.
• Ensure all activities carried out are in full compliance to all regulatory and authority requirement.
• Analyze data, derive trends, pareto, actions to close gaps, perform RCA and provide management reporting
• Understand basic design principles of renewable energy systems or gas related systems with experience working in the industry
• Familiar with installation and testing & commissioning of renewable energy systems or gas related systems.
• Understanding and knowledge of electrical design and specification of high‑tension and low‑tension electrical systems.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Someone with no experience is welcome to apply
• For managerial position, to have at least 5 years of experience in related industry
• Experience in energy related engineering management and project management is an added advantage
• Experience in renewable energy or gas related projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Microsoft Project/Primavera
