Job Description

Follow the Client's Service Plan. Duties include bathing (bed, tub, or sponge) shower; toiletry, grooming, shaving, dental care, dressing, and eating, proper nutrition, home management, light housekeeping, ambulation, transfer, taking vital signs, arranging and accompanying the client to the doctor, picking up prescriptions, documenting the client's food and liquid intake and output, medication reminders, changing diapers, emptying Foley catheter, basic first aid and CPR, range of motion, in-home emergencies, infection control, maintaining client confidentiality, and providing watchful oversight of the client.

Observe and report on any needs, changes in the client’s condition, or any other problems that may affect the client to Supervisor.

Document all changes or problems on the Task Sheet.

Demonstrate competency in meal preparation and clean‑up, homemaking and laundry, mobility and walking assistance, kitchen and bathroom maintenance.

Toileting and personal hygiene assistance.

Medication reminders.

Routine transfer assistance.

Bathing and showering assistance.

Transportation and errand running services.

Additionally, we provide ongoing training and an incentive program that enhances your professional growth as a caregiver.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver in a home environment with at least two (2) verifiable references.

Education/Training

Specialized Training is required for all personal care.
