Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Talent Education is currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school team in the Calderdale area. The role involves supporting pupils in the classroom, working closely alongside the class teacher, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant, or someone with relevant classroom experience, who is looking to further their career within education.

Responsibilities:

* Support pupils’ learning on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

* Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities

* Help manage classroom behaviour and engagement

* Support pupils with additional needs where required

* Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

* Assist with general classroom duties and supervision

Requirements:

* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

* Experience working in a school or educational setting

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* A positive, proactive, and flexible approach

* A strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
