Care Worker - Domiciliary

Flexible hours (including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, bank holidays including Christmas & New Year)

We are looking for compassionate, motivated, and reliable Care Workers to join our dedicated team. If you are passionate about supporting vulnerable adults to live independently and with dignity, we would love to hear from you.

This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will play a vital part in empowering customers to live fulfilling lives using a person-centred approach.

About the Role

As a Care Worker, you will:

* Encourage and support customers to take control of how they choose to live their lives

* Deliver person-centred care in line with individual care and support plans

* Assist with personal care (supporting both male and female customers)

* Monitor and record administration of medication as prescribed

* Support customers with social, recreational, vocational, and educational activities

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with policies and procedures

* Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and professionals

* Attend training sessions and development meetings

* Maintain confidentiality and uphold equality and diversity standards

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

* Understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults

* Experience in a social care setting (residential, nursing, or supported living)

* Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Good organisational and problem-solving skills

* Willingness to undertake training

* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

* Ability to work weekends and bank holidays

Desirable:

* Care Certificate

* NVQ Level 2 (or working towards)

* Medication training

* Breakaway training

* Safer people / manual handling training

* Knowledge of CQC and Supporting People Standards

* Customer service experience
