Location: Ucluelet
Become part of Ucluelet Harbour Seafoods as a Seafood Production Employee in vibrant Ucluelet, British Columbia. Full-time positions are available in a bustling fish processing facility, focusing on local seafood.
This seasonal position covers a variety of tasks essential for efficient production and quality control. From dock crew responsibilities to role-specific functions like filleting and packing, teamwork is key. Applicants should be reliable and able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment, meeting flexible shift requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with dock crew and vessel offload
• Operate cutting machines and assist in feeding
• Conduct quality control checks
• Handle freezer mastering and packaging
• Participate in plant cleaning duties
Requirements:
• Dependable and punctual for shift adherence
• Capable of standing for long periods
• Must lift up to 50 lb. / 23 kg as required
• Valid social insurance number or work permit
• Collaborate effectively on the production line
