Join the Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council as a Home Care Nurse supporting Indigenous families in Tofino. This part-time position emphasizes culturally informed nursing services and community engagement.

As a Community Health and Home Care Nurse, you will provide critical nursing services across various NTC regions. This unique role focuses on promoting health, preventing disease, and providing education to individuals and families. Your responsibilities will include immunization clinics, chronic disease management, and establishing partnerships that help improve community health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide disease prevention and health promotion education

• Conduct prenatal and post-natal support services

• Offer assessments and consultations in community settings

• Build community partnerships to tackle health issues

Requirements:

• Licensed RN with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Experience working with Indigenous communities is a plus

• Knowledge of electronic medical record systems

• Valid BC Driver’s license and ability to travel
