Detention Guard RCMP Detachment

As a Detention Guard, you'll monitor and confirm the welfare of individuals held in custody under RCMP supervision. This role requires keen observation skills along with the ability to maintain security and cleanliness in the cell block. Key Responsibilities:

• Observe and record prisoner activity frequently

• Assist RCMP in searching prisoners as needed

• Organize meals and maintain tidiness in cells

• Monitor prisoners in hospital when required

• Dispense approved medications under supervision

Requirements:

• Valid Occupational First Aid level 1 certification

• Ability to obtain RCMP Reliability Clearance

• Strong English speaking and writing skills

• Ability to handle physical demands through mobility

• Willingness to undergo necessary training
