Operations and Planning Manager – agilon health, Inc.

Location:

Toledo, OH (Hybrid – 2‑3 days per week at partner office)

Job Description

Responsible for overseeing strategic planning and execution of key activities within the Regional Business Enterprise (RBE) and across agilon health, providing effective leadership and participating in the implementation of business strategies and initiatives that align priorities to ensure fulfillment of company and business goals.

Essential Job Functions
  • Function in a highly matrixed, fast‑paced team‑based environment.
  • Support the RBE infrastructure with a focus on organizational effectiveness and integration between agilon health and physician partners to drive results.
  • Develop processes and lead initiatives to improve quality of care, efficiency, and growth in the market.
  • Act as part of the market leadership team to drive initiatives with provider partners, payers, and the enterprise supporting the RBE partnership.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to support development of innovative care models that create a world‑class patient experience.
  • Support prioritization, metric development/tracking, and ROI of new/ongoing projects.
  • Drive high‑quality results by focusing on organizational needs.
  • Leverage technology to drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and clinical results.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to define and support the agilon culture within the market and across the company.
  • Establish performance objectives, track performance, and evaluate progress toward unit and organizational goals.

Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience leading projects or driving initiatives.
  • Demonstrated track record of innovative thinking across patient care continuum.
  • Independent thinker who manages ambiguity and devises solutions while functioning effectively in team‑based environments.
  • Proven skills in development, implementation, and execution of project plans and integration of complex operations.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis of large data sets.
  • Passionate about business and collaborative approach; leads by example with a positive tone.
  • Focuses on achieving outcomes while maintaining cultural adherence.
  • Excellent communicator in written and oral form, capable of strategic and operational perspective, creating clear board‑ready presentations.
  • Builds active network of internal and external relationships, relates well to colleagues at all levels.
  • Respects confidentiality and sensitivity of information.
  • Energetic about driving results through superb process capabilities.
  • Highest standards of accountability; drives change while maintaining operating effectiveness and aligns efforts across physician practices, corporate functions, and business units.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred.

  • Language:
    Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external clients.
  • Mathematical:
    Ability to apply probability, statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical scenarios.
  • Reasoning:
    Apply logical and scientific thinking to wide range of problems.
  • Computer:
    Create and maintain documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
