Claims Assistant

Primary Purpose of the Role

To provide support to the claims staff and to perform other office tasks depending on the client program.

Essential Responsibilities May Include
  • Issue Settlement and Denial letters as directed.
  • Inputs and reviews notes/diaries in claims management system as instructed.
  • Reviews, prepares, creates, and/or sends letters, reports, and forms.
  • Answers and initiates telephone calls, and may provide customer service as required.
  • Other activities/projects as assigned including the preparation and distribution of computer reports.
Qualifications
  • Must be fluent in Brazilian Portuguese (Written and Verbal)
  • Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Six (6) months of clerical or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Work Environment

For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $15 - $20/hr a comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
