Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and maintain facility infrastructure systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational continuity by overseeing heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, and other essential building components. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a proactive approach to safety, compliance, and efficiency.
What You’ll Do- Oversee the performance and reliability of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
- Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Respond quickly to service requests and emergency situations.
- Optimize energy usage through effective management of building automation systems.
- Partner with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and building regulations.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment performance.
- Support facility improvement initiatives and contribute to long-term planning.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or an associate degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in facility maintenance or engineering, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Familiarity with CMMS tools for tracking maintenance activities.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to respond to urgent issues outside standard hours when needed.
- OSHA 10/30 safety certification.
- Experience with energy management systems or sustainability programs.
