Perstorp Polyols, Inc. is an international chemical manufacturing facility in Toledo, OH seeking a CAD and Document Control Specialist to join our team.

- Develop and maintain CAD and Document Management Systems (DMS) to ensure efficient and effective operation.
- Collaborate with engineering and inspection teams to ensure drawings reflect current field conditions.
- Provide technical support and training to users on CAD and DMS systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CAD and DMS systems.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the CAD and DMS systems.
- Create and maintain system documentation for processes and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CAD drawings and project documentation.
- Maintain distribution lists, organizational charts, manuals, procedural and report documents.
- Create, revise, and maintain technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works) and AI-powered tools.
- Administer SDS, contractor, and MOC databases.
- Support internal audits and safety programs.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the systems.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Business, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in document control and CAD drafting within an industrial or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD is required; experience with Solid Works or similar platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with DMS platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Open Text) and version control practices.
- Certifications such as AutoCAD Professional or equivalent are preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
