CAD and Document Control Specialist

• Develop and maintain CAD and Document Management Systems (DMS) to ensure efficient and effective operation.
• Collaborate with engineering and inspection teams to ensure drawings reflect current field conditions.
• Provide technical support and training to users on CAD and DMS systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CAD and DMS systems.
• Ensure data integrity and security within the CAD and DMS systems.
• Create and maintain system documentation for processes and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CAD drawings and project documentation.
• Maintain distribution lists, organizational charts, manuals, procedural and report documents.
• Create, revise, and maintain technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works) and AI-powered tools.
• Administer SDS, contractor, and MOC databases.
• Support internal audits and safety programs.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the systems.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Business, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in document control and CAD drafting within an industrial or engineering environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD is required; experience with Solid Works or similar platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with DMS platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Open Text) and version control practices.
• Certifications such as AutoCAD Professional or equivalent are preferred.
