• Lead a variety of tax planning projects for a diverse client base in real estate, hospitality and construction industries, providing up-to-the-minute tax advice clients can rely on.
• Manage teams and work in a highly collaborative culture, prioritizing listening and information sharing with colleagues as an essential part of the role.
• Analyze evolving portfolios of increasingly complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
• Identify potential opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients.
• Research current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
• Build client relationships and demonstrate deep knowledge of the real estate industry.
• Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients  tax activities.
• Research client business operations and build long-lasting relationships to tailor advice to specific needs.
• Supervise a motivated team of professionals, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to reach their full potential.

• A bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Seven to ten years  real estate tax experience within a professional services environment.
• Extensive knowledge in a broad range of real estate tax technical and transaction skills, including partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring.
• Experience managing budgets, people and projects.
• Business development within the market.
• A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
• Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
• The ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects.
• Strong influencing skills and the confidence to question existing processes.
• Willingness to travel as needed, and willingness to work in a balanced hybrid environment.

• CPA qualification or be a member of a state bar.

• The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr individual salaries within those ranges are determined through factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
