Base pay range: $20.00/hr – $24.00/hr
Job SummaryThe Cards & Payment Services Specialist is responsible for day‑to‑day card service operational tasks including monitoring, analyzing, reporting and making recommendations on all card portfolios and inventories. This position works with members and team members to understand and resolve card‑related issues and supports other payment service platforms including Bill Pay, Zelle, Remote Deposit Capture, and Loan Payment platforms.
What You’ll Do- Research member situations and issues relating to cards and payment services, collaborate with internal departments, resolve concerns, uncover root causes, and propose mitigation.
- Perform operational activities for the VISA credit and/or debit card programs, including review, analysis, and reporting of inventory, production reports, and processor services; provide status updates for projects and tasks.
- Investigate, research, and process Debit/ATM disputes within required time frames.
- Partner with Risk Management to process card‑service cases (CAMS alerts, disputes, chargebacks, arbitration); recommend and coordinate fraud and card‑service training.
- Daily processing of payment services (Zelle, RDC, Bill Pay, wallet tokenization).
- Deliver outstanding member service via calls and digital platforms aligned with CCF’s mission and service promises.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, applicable laws, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and OFAC.
- 6 months to 2 years of similar experience, including preparatory positions.
- High school diploma or GED.
- High degree of trust, credibility, and diplomacy.
- Ability to handle sensitive or confidential discussions with members, colleagues, and vendors.
- Communications skills to motivate, influence, educate, and advise others.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of credit policies.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Basic math skills and calculator proficiency.
- Ability to multi‑task across systems to assist members.
- Demonstrated customer‑service skills handling difficult interactions.

This position can be based in Troy, Michigan or Toledo, Ohio. Hybrid arrangements are available after 4–6 months of successful employment.
