Part Time Teller

Perform routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and payments in accordance to company policy.

This position can be full time or part time. Employee must be available to work a schedule as written by supervisor to meet credit union operations. Including a Saturday workday.

• Accurately perform routine member transactions which include receiving cash/checks for deposit, verifying amounts and endorsements.
• Disperse cash/checks and verify account balances prior to dispersing.
• Receive and process Visa, Loan and Mortgage payments.
• Receive and process stop payments, night drop and mail transactions.
• Transfer between accounts.
• Cross-sell all services of the credit union to members at every opportunity.
• Answer phones and respond to member requests and/or direct them to the proper person for assistance.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED) with six to twelve months of customer service.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills necessary for servicing credit union members and projecting a positive image as a representative for the credit union.
