Provides services to meet the mental health needs of enrolled University of Toledo students, as well as services (including consultation, when appropriate) to university faculty, staff, alumnae, and parents/guardians. This position is responsible for conducting intake/triage/assessment appointments for mental health services and referral, face-to-face and/or teletherapy, ongoing individual counseling, group/couples counseling when needed, crisis intervention services, outreach, and consultation services. This position also provides supervision for graduate level trainees/first-tier licensed staff in the mental health field (when appropriately licensed), as well as assistance with education and prevention related to mental health, wellness, and prevention.

Occasional evening hours required for outreach and programming.

• Master’s degree in counseling, or social work field required.
• Licensure in Ohio:
  Actively licensed by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Work and Marriage and Family Therapist Board as Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Clinical counselor/social work hire must be independent license eligible within two years of hire.
• Two (2) years clinical experience in a university counseling center or mental health agency (preferred).
• Knowledge of university and community resources is desirable.
