Job DescriptionThe Radiation Therapist is a clinical professional who delivers high‑quality radiation therapy to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions and treatment plans. This role requires clinical skills and an understanding of radiation therapy. The radiation therapist ensures compliance with safety protocols and may assist in education of future therapists. Assists CT SIM therapist with simulations as needed.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program
- ARRT certification and current state licensure
- Knowledge of treatment planning systems, EMR systems (e.g., ARIA, EPIC) and modern radiation therapy techniques (IMRT, SBRT, SRS, IGRT, DIBH)
- BLS/CPR certified
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program
