Substance Abuse Counselor (Master's degree and LCDC III)

Join New Season as a Substance Abuse Counselor. We are looking for a dedicated professional who can provide individual, group, and family counseling to patients struggling with opioid use disorder.

• Work with patients to complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
• Complete patient psychosocial and individualized treatment plan within the required timeframe.
• Identify and address clinical/case management needs.
• Perform individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Ensure at least 20 hours of direct one-on-one patient contact per week.
• Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and steps to recovery.
• Obtain urine drug screens and initial patient photo identification.
• Act in the best interests of the program and company, protecting proprietary data and rights.

• Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field.
• Active LCDC-III license in Ohio.
• Experience in the substance abuse field preferred but not required.
