Job Summary: As the Sonographer, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, you will perform specialized ultrasounds to assess fetal well-being in pregnant women. You will assist the Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians in performing ultrasound-guided procedures and inform medical staff in the event of abnormal findings/results. You will prepare women for exams, including patient positioning to obtain the best possible images. You will participate in the clinical instruction of students as needed.

- Perform specialized ultrasounds to assess fetal well-being in pregnant women.
- Assist Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians in ultrasound-guided procedures and communicate abnormal findings to medical staff.
- Prepare patients for exams, including adjusting patient positioning to obtain optimal images.
- Participate in the clinical instruction of students as needed.
- Must have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or have equivalent experience accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Must have current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) granted by ARDMS or equivalent training accepted by ARDMS, or must be registry eligible. Registry-eligible candidates must complete all requirements within 6 months of hire date; non-completion may result in termination.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
