Job SummaryWhen a patient has a severe respiratory condition, a Registered Respiratory Therapist provides the care they need in a general, clinical, emergency and/or diagnostic care area.
You will help create a care plan, evaluate goals, and maintain communication with appropriate members of a patient’s health care team.
In this role, you will help with clinical instruction of respiratory care, nursing, medical students, and residents as needed. You will also help orient new staff and contribute to the growth of others to strengthen the team.

Requirements- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Maintain credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Must be licensed to render respiratory care services by the respective state(s) of practice – Ohio and/or Michigan
- BLS
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS certification is recommended, and may be required at some business units.
- Membership in the American Association of Respiratory Care and other professional organizations is encouraged.
