Job Summary:
A Pro Medica Medical Assistant is a key member of our patient centric care delivery model. In the office setting, the Medical Assistant communicates with patients and co-workers and collaborates with leadership to recommend changes to improve patient care.
A Medical Assistant provides a safe patient experience from the moment they walk into a Pro Medica facility. From fathering data from the patient to documenting the reasons for the visit and obtaining vitals, the Medical Assistant strives for clinical excellence.
Communication is key in this role. You will communicate with patients, peers and all members of the health care team. You will show your clinical knowledge outside patient rooms as well when answering patient phone calls and relaying messages for providers or nurses.

REQUIREMENTS- High school graduate or equivalent.
- BLS (CPR), must present a current BLS course card from the AHA at time of employment or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Previous experience in medical office preferred.
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.
