Overview
We are seeking a PRN Receptionist to join our team of passionate patient caregivers at the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Northwest in Post Falls, Idaho. The hospital offers specialized inpatient rehabilitation services for patients throughout northern Idaho and the Inland Northwest, helping individuals overcome the challenges of strokes, amputations, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, complex orthopedic injuries, and other serious conditions with comprehensive therapy programs.
We are certified by The Joint Commission in Stroke and Amputee and are recognized among the nation's top 10% of rehab hospitals. Our caring clinical team provides one‑on‑one physical, occupational, and speech therapy, along with 24/7 nursing and physician support, all in a comfortable, healing environment.
- One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
- Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
Responsible for providing hospital telecommunication services through the use of telephones, pagers, the paging system, radio, or computer to connect communication between visitors, callers, staff, patients, and patients' families. May maintain records related to telecommunications (e.g., long distance phone calls, on‑call employees, pages). Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
