Human Resources Generalist

Overview

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist
. This role supports hourly bargaining unit employees, administers core HR functions, and ensures compliance with collective agreements in a fast-paced production environment.

• Administer employment office functions including leave tracking, reinstatements, and personnel records
• Deliver onboarding and orientation sessions for the hourly workforce
• Support lean manufacturing goals through aligned HR practices
• Promote and drive employee engagement initiatives at the plant level
• Assist with the administration and compliance of collective bargaining agreements
• Conduct workforce analysis and manage labor deployment within contractual and policy frameworks

Required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with conflict resolution and problem-solving
• Degree in Human Resources or related field
• 1+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Familiarity with unionized environments and labor relations
• Experience interacting with all levels of management and union representatives
