Data Analyst, Data Science Manager
We are seeking an experienced Data Lead/ Architect to help define and implement a data-driven strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The consultant will assess current data capabilities, identify opportunities for data and advanced analytics, and provide strategic guidance while remaining agnostic to specific products or vendors.
This role is not about selling a specific project but about delivering a holistic, actionable strategy for data and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and regulatory requirements (including ITAR/EAR).
- Assess the current data landscape, including architecture, governance, and analytics capabilities.
- Recommend best practices for data governance, security, and compliance in line with industry regulations.
- Provide agnostic recommendations for technology stacks, ensuring flexibility for the organization.
- Guide leadership on data-driven decision-making and digital transformation.
- Support the implementation of a roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
- Proven experience in data strategy and analytics within regulated industries (manufacturing).
- Strong experience with Enterprise level integration projects.
- Good experience with Databricks
- Strong experience with Power BI.
- Expertise in data governance, architecture and business intelligence (BI) applications.
- Ability to evaluate and recommend solutions without being tied to specific vendors or products.
- Experience working with executive leadership to drive digital transformation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to engage with stakeholders and assess needs.
