Manufacturing Leadership Program – Apeldoorn/NL

Manufacturing Leadership Program participants complete two years of the program at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant for technical and leadership training. During this time participants will be mentored by seasoned technical, operations, and maintenance professionals. Participants will be challenged by the various leadership opportunities found in a manufacturing environment such as:

• Safety leadership
• Supervisory Leadership
• Process and product technologies
• Operational systems and management
• Maintenance planning activities
• Total Productive Maintenance methodologies

In addition, you will develop the following skills necessary to be an effective manufacturing leader:

• Troubleshoot and problem solve designs, materials, and/or processes
• Leverage analytics & data‑based decision making
• Enhance leadership capabilities and lead teams
• Effectively communicate and elevate performance of self and others
• Strengthen technical expertise
• Understand customer‑driven focus

At the conclusion of the Manufacturing Leadership Program, you will be placed in a full‑time assignment as a Supervisor/Leader at an Owens Corning Apeldoorn manufacturing plant.

Seeking an enthusiastic candidate who will take initiative to drive results, execute goals, and creatively navigate through tasks. Demonstrates a desire to develop technical and leadership capabilities, in a manufacturing environment, while furthering their career and long‑term impact on Owens Corning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or relevant STEM major and/or field
• Previous relevant internships/co‑ops in a manufacturing setting
• Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations
• Willingness and flexibility to relocate (assistance provided)

Participants are based at various manufacturing sites.
