** Sign-On Bonus:** $5,000
** Pay:** $39.35/hr. starting rate plus shift differential.  
** Shift Differential:
*** 8-hour: 2nd shift +$1.00/hr., 3rd shift +$1.25/hr.
* 12-hour:
Day shift +$1.00/hr., Night shift +$1.50/hr.

* Shifts:

** Standard schedule includes 11 days on / 3 days off, with 12-hour shifts on weekends.

Shift: 2:00pm–10:30pm
* 3rd

Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
* * Overtime and weekend work may be required. Training will begin on 1st shift for a minimum of 2 weeks.

** Job Responsibilities
*** Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment including conveyors, robotics, and electrical systems
* Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, and make adjustments to minimize downtime
* Work with 120, 208, and 480 VAC circuits, PLC hardware, ladder logic, and motor controls (VFDs, soft starts)
* Operate shop tools such as lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, and power saws as needed
* Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability
* Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
* Adhere to safety protocols including PPE requirements and LOTO procedures
** Qualifications
* ** Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience required
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills
* Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems (480v), and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing setting
* Ability to read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders
* PLC troubleshooting experience preferred but not required
* Commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement

** Our Toledo, Ohio fully integrated plant is the largest Clarios facility, opened in 1981. With more than 610 employees, we manufacture batteries used in automotive and marine applications. The plant operates six days per week and is actively involved in the local community, supporting organizations like United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Cherry Street Mission, and Ronald McDonald House.
