$60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Position SummaryThe Inventory Control Analyst will ensure customer orders are fulfilled through the planning and coordination of inventory movements and the analysis of inventory positions. The ideal candidate for this position will have relative work experience within production planning, inventory control, logistics, or procurement. They will have sound communication skills and be able to problem solve independently. This role is on-site in a front office space at the main HFC production facility in Toledo, OH.

- Evaluate and meet inventory targets to ensure compliance with Hometown Food Company goals
- Plan, execute, and monitor inventory movements with attention to demand, production schedules, and shipping and receiving dates
- Assess, coordinate, and communicate the recoveries of potential shortfalls with 3PL partners and HFC Customer Service
- Liaison with the quality team and the production team to address impactful issues
- Identify and escalate situations out of direct control
- Analyze misses and design and oversee solutions for future avoidance
- Analyze and ensure compliance to FEFO with mindfulness to aging product
- Maintain inventory adjustment records to ensure data integrity is not compromised
- Coordinate and monitor cycle count activity when necessary
- Utilize inventory planning tools within Excel, PBI, and Microsoft D365
- Bachelors Degree
Required:
Supply Chain Management or equivalent preferred - APICs certification a plus
- 3-5 years’ experience preferred in Supply Chain Management / Logistics Planning / Operations
- Basic understanding of inventory fundamentals
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Working knowledge of ERP Systems
- Knowledge of manufacturing and shipment planning processes
- Strong organization, communication, and analytics skills
- Works well in a team environment and independently
- High energy to take on challenges associated with a start-up environment
