Title:

Robotic Weld Technician

Shift: 1st & 2nd shift positions available.

1st Shift 6am - 2pm OR 4am - 2pm (as needed).

2nd Shift 2pm - 10pm OR 2pm - 12am (as needed)

Salary: $25 - $31/hr + OT (dependent on experience).

There is a $1.50/hr shift differential for 2nd shift.

Robotic Weld Technician Role

The Robotic Weld Technician is a key member of our client's team, responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining robotic welding machines to ensure peak performance and weld quality. This role exists to diagnose and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment, applying technical expertise to uphold production standards and minimize downtime.

Robotic Weld Technician Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine errors to maintain weld quality and output
  • Set up and adjust robotic welding equipment for various products and specifications
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic systems and components
  • Analyze and modify computer-controlled robot movements to maximize efficiency and safety
  • Inspect and test completed work pieces to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Provide guidance to other workers on proper machine setup and operation
  • Keep accurate records of machine settings, maintenance, and repairs
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
Robotic Weld Technician Reporting Relationships

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. This position has no direct reports.

About You
  • At least 2 years of progressive robotic welder experience
  • Possess knowledge of machines, tools, and their maintenance
  • Understand production processes, quality control, and costs
  • Experience with Fanuc and Nachi robotic welders
  • Experience with Teach Pendant Programming
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions
  • Able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Meet or exceed all job requirements
