Production Manager
Production Supervisor - ~$65k
The Production Supervisor manages small work teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment, ensuring team safety, building and training teams, allocating manpower, driving continuous improvement solutions, and maintaining team morale. The objective is to improve product quality and achieve cost targets.
Job Responsibilities- Coordinate all activities to achieve business metrics and implement SPW processes.
- Ensure the production plan is met and analyze issues with team members.
- Lead and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
- Use the C-Matrix to coordinate SPW activities and improve zone performances.
- Proactively analyze quality KPIs, prioritize quality issues, and guide team leaders.
- Experience in production supervision and management.
- Knowledge of assembly and safety protocols.
- Continuous improvement and production management skills.
- Must be open to all shifts.
- Must be open to OT; they can work every day of the week up to 20+ hours of OT.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required;
Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred. - Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and build effective business relationships.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with Google Suite is a plus.
- 2 or more years' experience in supervision in a high-volume environment preferred.
- Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing preferred.
This is a contract position based out of Toledo, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.49 - $30.49/hr.
